Do Astronauts Believe There’s A Creator?
2014 was a HUGE year for space buffs, like me. We saw the European space agency land a spacecraft on a comet. We watched NASA test launch its new Orion spacecraft. And we celebrated the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s historic first steps on the moon.
For several years now I’ve been investigating the spiritual impact space travel has had on astronauts. I wanted to know whether their experience in space affected the faith and beliefs of astronauts. Recently, I shared the testimonies of many astronauts who had been to space and returned to declare that there had to be a Creator.
You might be surprised by the number of astronauts who have been profoundly impacted. You may be shocked to learn about what Yuri Gagarin, from the Soviet Union, the first man is pace REALLY said about his experience. From true stories of Bibles on the moon to the first communion service held outside of our atmosphere, I hope your faith is encouraged by the testimonies of the astronauts.
